De Torens van Beiroet (The Towers of Beirut) is a story of growing-up, friendship and resistance.
Nabila hopes to find happiness in the big city and flees the life she has with her parents in the countryside. Once in the city she becomes a lost soul. However, she survives, finds friendship and love. Then she discovers a terrible truth: a world in which the few decide the fate of many.
