After the artistic playing space CABAN, De Spiegel is now creating a garden where you are allowed to feel and taste, bloom and grow.
A pleasure garden for the eyes, ears and, above all, for the imagination. In this garden, small children grow a little bigger, they taste music, movement or images together with their parents or supervisors. At every eye level, there are different things to discover. They can sit, lie down or crawl around. They can sing, drum, dance and clap along.
Musicians, dancers or sculptors pop up among the swaying curly cabbages, tripping coal tits and swaying warblers. They allow themselves to be pollinated by both the garden and the audience, catching what is in the air and planting music, dance or sculpture.
From these, wonderful sounds, movements or forms grow over the course of a session. And just like real gardeners in real gardens, the artists in LABOTANIK also intervene in vegetation, paths and seeds.

Seedbeds to crawl through,
lablab bean bushes and blowing flowers.
Arboncles and camp’mace.
This garden twitter and creak, rustle and rustle.
A musitope for babies and their caring gardeners.
