DISAPPEARING IN LIGHT

Wim Henderickx, and in 2009 composer in residence with HERMESensemble, refers to non-Western traditions in his approach to light and dark.

The composition comprises three main elements: Darkness, Meditation and Light and two interludes. The entire composition is based on the tantric mode, a self-constructed microtonal musical scale.
